">DadMexico Like his father and his Grandfather before him, my Dad, Daniel Leonard the 4th had as sense of adventure and a strong will which allowed him to quite naturally play the dominate leading man in our circle of friends and relatives. This eventually led him to become active in his church and in local government, as a councilman and including a run for Mayor of Pico Rivera.
Dad never talked about his harrowing experiences in World War 2 as a door gunner on a B-24 Liberator Bomber. Flying in raids over Germany, Normandy, Northern France and Sicily. His life lay on the line in the Famous air battle over the Poesti oil fields in Nazi occupied Romania where 53 of the 178 bombers were lost.
He was the catalyst for our many trips to Mexico where he would attempt to locate long lost relatives on both sides of our family. Once a year we would pack our belongings and head off for adventure, usually dragging along friends or relatives who were more than willing to share an experience with the Leonard family.

    It’s The Music, Man

When I discovered the new keyboards with onboard recording and playback of musical arrangements I began to see that I could get fully back into music without having to form a band or put up with all the work that rehearsing or settling for the limited sounds that a band could produce. With the Roland XP-50 digital workstation, I could invent, arrange, perform and produce my own musical ideas.
